Cocoa Brown 1 Hour Tan by Marissa Carter

I'm a self confessed tanophobe. Seriously, fake tan puts the fear of God into me. I'm whiter than white and any past forays into fake tan have left me in orange streaky messes or a delightful shade of jaundiced yellow.

The Oopma Loompa look is not one that I'm particularly keen on recreating, I'm far more at home with the likes of Illamasqua's Skin Base in 001 White. However, I've been seeing and hearing nothing but praise for Cocoa Brown's 1 Hour Tan by Marissa Carter. The whole of blog land seems to love it and there's one rave review after another for it and I came across them at the Irish Beauty Show in the RDS a few weeks back, so of course I had to try it...

Skinetica - Anti-Blemish Solution

Happy Easter All!

If you read my last post, you'll know that I've been suffering an outbreak of sorts and my poor skin has been in bits with redness, blemishes and agh, the dreaded spots! I seriously thought that I had outgrown these outbreaks as I haven't had one in years but oh well, these things happen.

So it was perfect timing that I got my hands on some Skinetica - an anti-blemish skincare treatment formerly known as Acnigon.

ARTDECO Bronzing Collection for Summer - Tribal Sunset

It's only March but as soon as I received a sample of the latest collection from ARTDECO - Tribal Sunset, I was immediately whisked away to thoughts of exotic and far flung destinations. This really did put a smile on my face and bring a little ray of sunshine into an otherwise dull and dreary day.

I'm a huge fan of ARTDECO - highly pigmented and hard workings formulas manufactured in Germany and available at very reasonable pricing over here. I've always been a fan of the brand and often felt that they're highly under-rated and don't get as much love as they should on these shores.

They've been playing a blinder recently with their fantastic collaborations with Dita Von Teese and more recently their gorgeous Butterfly Dreams release. Tribal Sunset is yet again upping the game and I am completely head over heels for it.

Blemishes Begone! Witch Anti-Blemish BB Cream

I remember using Witch products back in the day when I was a teen. Witch was right up there with Lipcote, Constance Carroll and Collection 2000 as being part of my makeup staples. Back then I was drawn to the witch hazel's almost magical properties when it came to blemishes, spots, pimples and well, all round problematic teenage skin.

Fast forward a few years and thankfully I rarely get any spots nowadays (severely dry and dehydrated skin has taken it's place and let me tell you right now, that ain't no fun either) so Witch products went out of sight and out of mind. Until now that is with their new Anti-Blemish Beauty Balm.

Oh So Scentsual - VOYA Reed Diffuser

Hello all and I hope you're having a lovely Easter! :)

I have a wee bit of an obsession with all things fragranced and scented home products - honest to God my house looks like a Church at times with the amount of votives, tumbers, large glass jars and scented pillar candles that's lighting around the place. So yeah, I guess you could say that I like my home to be wafting with gorgeous scents 24/7.

I've recently made the switch from candles to reed diffusers however and I'm absolutely loving the "Oh So Scented" organic Reed Diffuser in Lime and French Basil by VOYA.

Must Haves: Tweezerman

Good old Tweezers. We all have a set or two of Tweezers laying about somewhere but the undoubted King of tweezers is of course Tweezerman.

I recently had the pleasure of watching Nilam Patel (the founder of HD Brows) do her thing and the most important tool for taming your brows to get that defined and polished look is a good set of tweezers - look no further than Tweezerman!

Collection Cosmetics - Colour & Go and Killer Curves Mascara

Collection Cosmetics have recently undergone a brand spanking new revamp (you may remember them back from their days of Collection 2000) and I have to say that the new product range is all blinged up and pretty spectacular.

The new Primed & Ready Smoothing Skin Primer and Fix Me Up Long Lasting Makeup Fixer are already staples in my kit so I was looking forward to trying out the newly launched  Cover & Go and Killer Curves Mascara.

Frontcover Cosmetics

I remember my first ever purchase from Frontcover - it was back in 2008 heading towards Christmas, and the brand had just launched the Rainbow Eyes palette in Boots. I was instantly taken in by the "Makeup Book" look of the palette - a lovely big, glossy cardboard palette which opened like a book and could be placed on a shelf amongst your beauty books - I was instantly hooked!

Amy Childs Lashes in Temptress No. 2

As a lot of you may have cottoned onto by all the posts I've made in the past regarding false lashes, I do have a bit of a thing for falsies. Short and natural, long and full, wild and dramatic or flirty and demure I love them all, so much so that I see a bit of an obsession forming and this now brings me to Amy Childs (of TOWIE fame, as if you guys didn't know!) Lashes in Temptress No. 2

Pedi-Sox - Pamper your feet!

Update: WIN a pair of Pedi-Sox here

One thing I get a bit lackadaisy about during the winter months is neglecting my feet and toenails, if I'm being honest it's just too cold to go around barefoot faffing with nail polish and waiting for it to dry - I'd much rather be tucked up in some comfy socks or slippers lazing by the fire. Then comes along Pedi-Sox to solve my winter woes and freezing toes!
